This beautiful butterfly is one of the largest in the world. Its wing span can spread 5-8 inches. These beauties live in tropical forests that cover Latin America.
As a part of the "Peeking Through" series this work represents the two sides of a person. One that we share with the world and one that only the individual sees. With its bright blue wing the blue morpho draws attention from any one within viewing distance but when its wings are closed it blends in with the forest around it.
