Blue Parachute Fly

This mayfly inspired fly was drawn in colored pencil, hand cut out, and attached with fishing line into a foam box I hand built. The background and walls of foam box are painted with black and blue India Ink.

These flies are an effective dry fly on WNC streams during spring and fall hatches. They are designed to imitate mayflies with bright colors to make them easing to see in rough water.
