Butterfly High in the Sky Mini Artwork Original

Original 4x6 colored pencil and ink on watercolor paper.

This wonderful green butterfly flies gently above the garden below.

For this piece, I drew a butterfly then I used tape to create a geometric design. I painted with watercolor a green grassy area inside the butterfly and a blue and purple sky outside the butterfly. After removing the tape, I drew the butterfly in ink. This artwork reminds me of looking out of a window on the ground below.

Perfect size for a desk, end table, or piano.
