The flowers in this work are all plants that would be seen growing wild on a prairie.
Black Eyed Susans, Prairie Clover, Cone Flowers, Milkweed, and Prairie Grass.
Without these wonderful plants to feed the swallowtails, hummingbird moths, honey bees, and bumble bees what would happen? And the other way around.
This work is collage. The background is charcoal. The old abandoned house is ink, The flowers and beautiful pollinators are colored pencil, hand cut and pasted.
