Grandpa's Rose Mini Artwork Original

Original 4x6 colored pencil and ink on watercolor paper.

This is based on a picture of one of my grandfather's favorite roses. This pink and orange rose bush climbs up the side of my grandparents carport. I have so many memories of helping my grandparents with their flowers.

For this drawing, I used tape to create a geometric pattern. I then used colored pencil to draw a rose where the tape was not covering. Once I removed the tape, I drew the entire pink rose in ink. 

Perfect size for a desk, end table, or piano.
