This peony was growing freely beside the carport at my grandparent's house. It was so striking. The bright pinkish purple bloom against the blue gray of the carport. I couldn't help falling in love.
I used colored pencil and ink to draw the peony. The carport was painted with watercolors. I then cut out the peony and collaged it on top of the watercolor.
