Pink Egg Fly

This trout or salmon roe inspired fly was drawn in colored pencil, hand cut out, and attached with fishing line into a foam box I hand built. The background and walls of foam box are painted with red and purple India Ink.

Egg flies are effective in winter and spring when the fish are spawning.
