Red Zebra Midge Fly

This midge larvae inspired fly was drawn in colored pencil, hand cut out, and attached with fishing line into a foam box I hand built. The background and walls of foam box are painted with black India Ink.

This fly is an essential year-round nymph during the winter and on tailwaters. It is designed to imitate midge larvae.
